Comment: Have been married to Nonnie for the last 33 years and have 5 kids all grown and out of the house. We have 6 grandchildren. Everyone lives within 70 mile of Saint James so we get together quite often. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Comment: Greetings from the South.  We moved the family to South Carolina in 2000 to continue my career with what was then known as Rockwell Automation / Reliance Electric or Kato Engineering when in Mankato.  We have enjoyed the warmth and endless summers of the South.  It is easy to forget the -20 temps of Minnesota after being gone for 10 years.  70 degree days now have me putting on a polar fleece!

Our oldest son graduated from Clemson with a Chemistry degree and our second will graduate with an Architecture degree next spring.  We get back to Minnesota about once a year.  I enjoyed running up Main street hill this spring.  Seems to have gotten a lot smaller after biking and hiking in the Appalachian Mountains.  100 mile bike rides are now the norm.  Still lots of new things to explore in the south.  Hopefully we will make the journey north for the 40th reunion.  Best wishes to all.     Jeff

Comment: Hey guys. It's been a long time since I've seen anyone from home. I am going to try my best to make it to the reunion, but because of the mess Hurricane Katrina has made here, it might be tough. The phone lines are not working well and makes calling difficult. I would love to hear from anyone having the time to e-mail. You can also find me at wind_dancer1022 on yahoo. Add me as a friend if you want to chat. Hope I can make it in October and would love to see you all.

Comment:  Daughter Paige, 25. Son Allen Jeffrey(AJ) 10. Never did settle down anywhere for any length of time. Life is great, travel all over the country, make decent money. Never have to pull out a map to find where I'm going. Home base is Mankato. Was at the 20th reunion. Was a blast, wish I could have been to more, best of health to all. Come see me at Fun Days, brother Greg has that contract. Later

Comment: It  still amazes me that while most see me as just another old and presumably irrelevant guy (just ask my sons!), that in my mind I still am the kid I was when I was at Mankato West.

To sum up my story in a few words -- life is complicated but very sweet. I have three kids -- two boys and a girl (ages 18, 14, and 12). They are my most cherished accomplishment, even if they can be frustrating beyond all imagination. To see the world through their eyes is exciting, scary, and a priviledge.

I live in Portland, which I found by accident, but the quality of life, the environment, and the general live-and-let-live culture has kept me here for 30 years. Oh yeah, the outsanding coffee helps too. :-)

I am recently re-married and if children and work can be complicating, in Jackie I find my sweetness.

Anyway, thank you to everyone who posted and told a little about themselves. It is very fun to read and catch up on the memories that time has dulled but never erased. I am not able to attend your 35 renunion but I will send you all good thoughts.
