Hi everybody! I've been living in Minneapolis since 1988, married another musician/teacher in 1993 and singing and playing the piano in nightclubs across the country and abroad. I did get back to Mankato (from Vermont) with my family (i.e. husband, Ron, of 25 years, and 2 of our 3 sons) in August: Mankato West looks pretty spiffy with its bright red doors. But---other things have really changed. I miss the Betsy-Tacy red brick Mankato...

Gazzola and I were commiserating over a few cocktails at our favorite watering hole and wondering if we were going to have a reunion. It doesn't look like either one of us will be able to make it (haven't run into Kier Karson lately so don't know his plans) but I have been known to be a little impulsive so who knows. I got married two years ago and have two great step-sons, 10 and 14. We spent a couple of weeks in Minnesota this summer. Showed the family around the Key City before heading up north. They loved the lake and skiing, etc. Showed them Ski Haven (can't get used to "Mt. Kato") and after they got done howling I told them some stories about the good times we had there. The REAL stories will come later. It is amazing how I keep running into people from Kato. One of my ski patrol friends actually used to take ski vacations to Ski Haven. (An Iowan of course) Anyway, I'm getting long winded here so have fun, maybe I'll see you in October, and I hope everyone is doing well.
