Comment: Wow—50 years already! Either time flies, or we all unknowingly stepped into some kind of sci-fi time warp. One minute, we’re cruising the halls of high school, and the next, we’re getting mail from AARP.

After high school, I took my knack for numbers to Mankato State University, where I earned a BS in Accounting—because nothing screams “wild college years” quite like debits, credits, and the thrilling world of tax codes. I then fearlessly tackled the CPA exam (it was me vs. the multiple-choice questions) and embarked on a career in finance. I ultimately retired as Director of Finance for a large international company, which is just a fancy way of saying I spent decades wrangling spreadsheets and making numbers behave.

Now, seven years into retirement, I’m enjoying the freedom to travel, working on my golf game (the ball and I are still in negotiations), and diving into genealogy (discovering a few black sheep along the way). My true passion, however, seems to be collecting hostas. With over 500 varieties in my yard, I may or may not need an intervention… or at least a bigger garden.

My wife and I married in our 40s, and though we never had kids, we’ve packed plenty of adventures into life. Looking forward to catching up, sharing memories, and seeing where life has taken everyone. See you at the reunion!

Comment: Hello everyone! Thanks for getting this together.

I have been living in Maple Grove for much of the past 30 years. I've been married to Mike for 23 years and we have two children, twins - Sara and Nick. They are 16 and are Juniors at Wayzata High School. Both are active in sports, mainly hockey. We are definitely a hockey family. We have been blessed with an active and happy life.

My work life has varied over the years. I worked at North Ridge Care Center as the CFO for 17 years. Five years ago I started doing consulting work and most recently started a new business with a very good friend. Check out www.hoejoe.com. It's been a kick!

Unfortunately we will not be at the reunion activities due to a hockey tournament in North Dakota. Hope that everyone has a great time!
