| Comment: Hello to everyone! Doug and I have been married 30 years. Through Doug's corporate career we have lived in Minneapolis/St.Paul, then San Diego, CA and now are living in Charlotte, NC. Our oldest son Brett is 24 and graduated from Northwestern University 2008 with a degree in enginerring. Our youngest son Tyler is 21 and an enginerring major at University of WI- Madison. I was an RN, but my true passion is interior design. I have spent the last 30 years decorating many beautiful homes. I will not be at the reunion and I wish you all a wonderful time. | |

Hello classmates and high school friends, It took a bit to break the 'Mankato vortex', but I finally got outta town in 1985 with a move to Germany. Since that time, I've lived in Texas, Colorado, Tennessee and have spent the last 21 years in Northern Virginia outside Washington, DC. I've also had the opportunity to visit 46 of the 50 U.S. States. I have lived the last 12 years on five acres up on a mountain on the edge of the Blue Ridge just west of DC. I retired from the Central Intelligence Agency in 2013. Since then, I have been running a home business called 'The Cross-Eyed Possum' , designing and creating jewelry that I sell at fairs and festivals. I recently received an offer for a position supporting the FBI that will begin in September, so the 'Possum' will have to play dead for awhile. I will not be attending the reunion because Kathryn Himmelman Smith and I are meeting in Seattle for a week long 'best friends' trip that same week. Guess 46 years of friendship trumped 40 years since graduation. Special hello to Cindy (Buggart), Barb (Anderson), Bev (Allen), Deb (Yetter) and Denise (Szallar)!!! Hope y'all have a great time at the party!! |

| Comment: Now since the last class reunion. My twins, Alissa and Megan, just became the 135th Class to graduate at West last Spring-2010. Aliissa is now attending South Central College, in North Mankato and Megan chose to attend UWL- LaCrosse, WI. I have been working at MICO, Inc going on 26 years in Sales/Customer Service Dept. While the girls have been attending West, I have not missed a Homecoming coronation. The tradition is still there and it has been fun watching the older classes come back for their reunions, now it is our turn . | Comment: Worked at Kato Engineering from 1977 to 1985. Worked at MICO from 1986 to 2025(39 yrs). Married Steve Richmond in October 1988 and had twin daughters in 1992, Alissa and Megan. Alissa lives in the area and works from home and not married. Megan moved to LaCrosse, WI in 2010 to attend UWL, where she met her husband in the marching band, Kyle Guepfer. They were married and bought their home in 2016, in Onalaska, WI. In May of 2023, we were blessed with our first grandchild Jessa Jo. We travel to Wisconsin at least once a month to see everyone. Steve moved from Iowa to attend MSU and work at Artcraft camera. He then worked at CWC and Midwest/ Altell /Verizon's until they downsized. He now works at ZF/ MICO since 2020. | |

We have three children: Niki is 22 and is a Nurse in Rochester, Allie is 19 and is a Soph. in Mankato, and Tyler is 17 and a Senior this year. Denise is a Private Banker with Wells Fargo, and I teach math and science at the Middle School. I look forward to seeing you Saturday. | |
